Local Hack Day: Learn is a global week-long conference that you can share with your community. You can pick up the new skills you need by participating in workshops and talks with a community around the world. Over the course of 12 hours, attendees will experience a series of workshops where they’ll learn skills such as publishing their first website using AWS, sending their first SMS with Twilio, and building their first game in Unity. This is an event for all skill levels, from beginners to the most veteran developers. Workshop attendees will learn skills that they can apply in their projects, schoolwork, job, and beyond.

Everyone is welcome to participate in Local Hack Day regardless of experience level, student status, or age. Each day there will be challenges geared towards beginners, so even if you’ve never coded before, there’s something here for you.
Everyone is welcome at Local Hack Day regardless of their coding experience. Many participants use Local Hack Day as an opportunity to learn some coding skills and network with other beginners. In fact, we have programming and workshops specifically for hackers just starting out!
We want to make sure that MLH Local Hack Day events create a safe and welcoming environment for attendees and organizers. For this reason the MLH Code of Conduct should be followed throughout the duration of each event.
Local Hack Day is organized by Major League Hacking (MLH). MLH is the official global hacker community.
